Salmon soup is one of our favourite dishes. My husband Kimmo has specialized on preparing it. Here we can see he's attemps on peeling the skin of. Ämmi makes also the broth from fish bones and skin but we take the short cut at that part. I'll post Ämmi's creamy salmon soup too at some point. Her soup has made a great success in many festive events!
Today we decided to try out new recipe with a twist of pickle and horseradish.
This dish is what it seems to be. Vegetables that got selected for the "today's oven veggies" are potatoes, red beat root, sweet potato, onion and carrot. I added some spices like olive oil, red vinegar, black pepper, salt and herbs. Side dishes are pretty straight forward too. I like this kind of simple food during week days.
