Spring Winter is the time for Sun and Snow Fun. Weather is getting warmer and snow is starting to melt a little bit. This is the time when locals start to enjoy cross country skiing. During Easter children love to dress up as witches, wearing colourful old clothes and painting freckles on their
faces. The little witches then go from door to door, bringing willow twigs decorated with colourful feathers as blessings to drive away evil spirits, in return for treats.
Welcome to experience Finnish Easter traditions and Spring Winter with us between 30.3.-1.4.2018! Dates varies yearly.
Including things like:
– Enjoying outdoors with bright sun and snow
– Traditional Easter meal
– Little Easter witches wishing for a healthy and joyful year
– Planting grass seeds
– Decorating Easter branches and eggs
– Eating outdoors on open fire
